Permanent Residence and Canadian Citizenship by Sponsorship
Supported persons can receive permanent residency in Canada. The applicants must have been in Canada for at least 730 days in the last five years to be permanent residents of Canada. However, this presence can be intermittently, and the applicants do not have to be in Canada for 730 consecutive days. However, the applicants must show that they have been in Canada for at least three years in the last five years to obtain Canadian citizenship.
