Medical education in the UK is quite broad. On average, undergraduate courses will last between four and six years, after which qualified physicians will take two years of program training and basic training (foundation training) before choosing a specialty. Of course, specialized training in obstetrics and gynecology (O&G) takes seven years.
- Foundation program
It is a 2-year course designed to ensure that all newly qualified (intern) physicians have followed the structural study program and have practical experience before entering specialized training. Medical education in the UK and tuition fees
The average annual tuition for international and EU students is 38,000 pounds, which varies depending on the university. Study medicine in the UK and other medical sciences
- Pharmacology
International students can apply to study pharmacy in the UK. There are three ways for international students to enter UK schools and prepare for pharmacology studies.
- The first one is the students over 12 years old who have finished the first year of high school. This course is equivalent to a diploma, and the students will learn elementary science courses and are prepared to enter the field of pharmacy in the UK.

The applicant’s student visa application must be approved for study admission (CAS). The UK Medical Education Office prepares all other CAS for international students. The applicant’s CAS statement will be emailed to one. The applicant must enter the CAS reference number in the relevant field of the Tier four student visa applications. The applicant must know that a CAS can only be used for one student visa application. If the applicants refuse their visa application, they will need to apply for a new CAS.
