Studying medicine in Ukraine and getting a visa
It should be noted that getting admitted to a university will not lead to getting a visa, and getting a visa requires the preparation and submission of a series of documents that are required, and according to these documents the visa will be issued. Medical education in Ukraine and other fields of medical sciences
In the following we will check the medical education in Ukraine in the branches of pharmacy, dentistry and nursing:
- Pharmacology/pharmacy
Studying in pharmacy in Ukraine lasts for 5 years. During these 5 years, students study basic medicine and biology in addition to the main courses in pharmacy. All of the costs in the first for students are estimated at $ 6,200, and because in the following years the visa and university invitation fees are reduced, this cost will be $ 4,200.
- Dentistry
The duration of the dental course in Ukraine is 5 years and the duration of the specialization course after these 5 years is 2 years. Tuition fees for studying dentistry in Ukraine is on average $ 4,900. Students study basic medical and clinical dentistry courses in the first year and then courses that are related to major dental problems such as tooth decay, periodontitis, and diseases that are related to the mucous membranes in the oral cavity. At the end of these 5 years, students will be given a doctoral degree or BDS. Generally, all the expenses of the first year for studying dentistry in Ukraine, including university tuition fees, accommodation, insurance, university invitation, visa fees, etc., are $ 6,600, and in the following years this cost will be reduced to $ 4,700.
- Nursing
Nurse education in Ukraine can be 3 years or 4 years. In these courses, students take units in the fields of basic medical sciences, biological sciences and basic nursing units, and all these courses are held theoretically and practically. The cost of studying nursing in Ukraine is about $ 6,900 a year.
Studying medicine in Ukraine and working after graduation
Due to the fact that Ukraine is not a member of the European Union, working in this country and getting a residence permit is not the ultimate goal of many students, and many students after completing their medical studies in Ukraine are thinking of finding a job and working in top countries and studying medicine in Ukraine can only be a launching pad for them.
